This section deals with the development of mental sharpness, intellect and comprehension. This simply points the way to success in theory., but we strive to take our students past theory and put learning in to practical application. Therefore we have a two pronged approached to our students development which involves both academics and mentoring or apprenticeship.
The definition for academic is: educational: relating to education, educational studies, an educational institution, or the educational system.
It relates to the development of our students in the following ways:

This section deals with equipping children for practical application of knowledge and their life path by matching their academic skills with those areas that will allow them to excel and find good success in the following areas: spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and financially. It is the task of acting as a mentor to somebody, especially a junior colleague, or the system of appointing mentors.
Our programs are designed to minister to the needs of the whole person: mind body and soul. We accomplish this by establishing a network of support for our students and their families which they can use for help, advice and support... because it takes a village to raise a child.

Grace Academy is the academic and mentoring ministry of Amazing Grace Ministries designed for youth ages 9-14 years of age, that teaches children not only how to earn a living, but how to live. This programs incorporates our "Sons and Daughters" outreach ministry where... "God will be a father to the fatherless." It is designed to reach those without a positive father figure in the home. To show them the love and care of God and bring wholeness back into their lives. It includes academic, mentoring and life skills training.
Our foundational scripture is Proverbs 22:6 and our school motto is three-fold and outlined as such: (1) "He Lives Twice... Who Lives Well", (2) "He Conquers Twice... Who Conquers Himself" and (3) "Life... and Life More Abundantly". This is where education meets the reality of life, so we stress the importance of a holistic approach to education and training of our youth which outlines our responsibility to live as contributors to our society and to impact our world in ways that bring glory to God. You are welcome and invited to join us on this journey to... life success.
What We Do
We will initially be offering after-school and summer mentoring programs for young men and women from ages 9 to 14 across the southeastern U.S. and where ever the Holy Spirit leads us. You may want to establish Grace Academy program or a Covenant House in your local community that will serve as a refuge or "safe house" where youth can come for help with academics and/or life skills training. Parenting classes will also be offered to from time to time to help equip parents and guardians in how to effectively reach and manage their God given purpose and destiny. Our programs are designed to help parents and youth find a track to... life success, whether that is academics, economics or in their relationships with others. No one has to be left behind, because they don't fit into the world's standards... God created all of us with unique gifts and talents, that just have to be brought to the surface through discovery, development and put to use.

Curriculum is defined as: the subjects taught at an educational institution, or the topics taught within a subject. We use the 3rd to 8th grade Life-Pac Curriculum to shape not only our students heads, but their hearts as well. LIFEPAC is a full-color, consumable worktext curriculum with Bible-based content for grades K-12. Designed by a team of accomplished educators with years of classroom experience, LIFEPAC is based on the principle of mastery learning. Students master content in each unit worktext before progressing to the next. Our LIFEPAC worktexts provide one full year of learning content per grade level; individual worktexts can also be used as supplemental material. In addition, we can mix and match subjects or grade level worktexts to personalize our student's curriculum content. All of these programs are privately funded, so we are in need of faithful and dedicated partners, volunteers and other who can either donate meeting space or help us secure meeting space and resources to help support these programs and services that are desperately needed in our community. Your prayers and financial support are greatly needed and appreciated. Contact us and find out how you can partner with us or start a Grace Academy Chapter in your local community.
